Anne at the St. Joseph Women's Clinic is awesome. She was willing to sit down with me and talk about the issues that i was having and more than willing to help me manage my PCOS and get things under control so i can conceive - and she has PCOS herself!
Her number is 253-207-4890 and the address is 1812 South J Street, Suite 120, Tacoma.
I was diagnosed in 1998 but was unable to seek treatment due to no health insurance. BUT NOW I am ready to address this area of my life again. I used to go to a doctor in Federal Way but didn't like the way she treated and talked to me so this suggestion is a God send!
Thanks Coze. I am in Federal Way and go to the PolyClinic in Seattle. I swtiched there from UW-Rosevelt Wmns Clinic. I dont care for there atomshere and everytime I go, I would have a resident. PolyClinic has been okay, but I have only been twice.

Good luck!
I was curious what treatment she has perscribed you?
Anne did a whole panel of tests (more than i've ever had done) and then evaluated the whole situation before advising me to an endocrinologist for Metformin and Vitamin D. She will talk to you not just about your baby situation, but also your life as a whole. It's definately not just about what she'll prescribe to you.

Have you heard anything good or bad about Overlake Reproductive, we were referred there by my OB and are curious if they have our best interest in mind or are seeing $$$. They seem pretty genuine but it is so hard to say and now we are having to fight with the insurance about it because they are both Endocrinologists and Reproductive specialists. Thanks
I had high hopes for Anne when I first met her. She was the one that diagnosed me with pcos. She listened and was willing to sit with me and seemed like she really cared. After i got past the initial findings I wanted more answers and more tests and none were done. She put me on Yasmin (ocella) and said to come back in a month and if i wasn't doing well she would try metformin. Well, I have now been on it for 4 months and have no seen any improvement and she never tested my blood to check my testosterone level, she also never check my ovaries and told me I was insulin resistance, but never gave me the specific blood test to check for it. She also gave me her email address, but then never responded to my emails. So my friend has referred me to her obgyn in Queen Anne and I will see how that goes.
