I was going to mention provera. Most OB/GYNs won't mention Metformin. For some reason, they think it's best to treat the symptom (inconsistent periods) rather than the problem (PCOS). Metformin is a diabetes drug that also helps with insulin resistance, which is common in cysters. Talk to the specialist about it. And make sure you get a glucose/insulin TOLERANCE test (not just fasting numbers).
