another breakfast idea I thought some of you might be interested in this breakfast I've been eating a few times a week. It is a very balanced protein/carb ratio plus it is very WW point friendly.(I follow the IR diet + Weight Watchers)
1/4 cup canned salmon (I buy the cheap pink stuff, only about $2 for a large can)-12 grams protein (plus a great source for omega 3 and calcium)
2 tablespoons fat free cream cheese (5 grams protein)
few drops of liquid smoke
minced onion
I mush it all together to make a spread. Then I put it on a Natural Ovens Brainy Bagel (29 net carbs, 8 grams fiber, 9 grams protein..made from all organic ingredients and very yummy!
I love smoke salmon/lox with cream cheese on a bagel, and I figured out this inexpensive, low fat, way to include it in my diet.
