I am Heather, 29 years old, live in SC, and have been diagnosed with PCOS since I was 14, so it's nothing new to me, lol. I've been on BCP since then. But I am about ready to go off of them and see what happens with my cycles. I am thinking of trying to go off the pill and go back on South Beach and see if losing weight doesn't do something for me after 15 years of being on the pill.
I have been on this board for quite some time, but hardly ever logged in or posted, but now I am ready to learn more and talk with people in my same situation.
I am not TTC yet, but hopefully will in the next year or 2. My GF is not quite as ready for kids as I am, so I won't be doing anything right away. But I am starting to think about what I need to do for that.
Anyway, nice to see everyone, and hopefully we will talk soon.
Hi Heather and welcome!! I live very close..in Rock Hill SC (only an hour away). My best friends from high school live in Columbia so I visit there sometimes. I am TTC and on try #5 now so hopefully I will get a BFP soon
Welcome Meeko! This board has been a saving grace for me, I have made some wonderful new friends here. I'm not to far from you either, I am in Savannah Georgia so about 2 hours or so I think.
I am just beginning the process of TTC #1 so its a new experience for me.
Savannah is so beautiful!! I have visited there a few times. It is on my way to Daytona Beach (where my brother lives) and a nice place to take a break.
Rock Hill isnt that great, but it is close enough to Charlotte to have more things to do.
Wow, small world everyone. I drive to Daytona Beach area once a month or so (so I pass through Savannah) to visit my GF. We are not living together, yet, anyway ;-) That may change soon, but as for now we are still doing the LDR thing.
That is a long drive meeko! It takes me 7 hours from Rock Hill...so you probably drive about 6 hours one way right? I cant imagine doing that once a month!
Yeah the drive is rough. I do it once a month, and she does it once a month. So we see each other every other weekend. It is starting to get really hard.
