I had an ectopic pregnancy was given the methrotexrate shot and bled for 9 weeks. At first they thought I was only pregnant with one in the uterus that m/c naturally untill they noticed my betas were going up slowly and that is when they saw the 2nd baby in the left tube as an ectopic. I had a horrible experience. I had a low initial beta on Feb 24th and the pregnancy ended March 17th. I was told to wait 3 mos to get the shot out of my system before I try again. I have been sad ever since. I hope you feel better soon and get your bfp real soon! I will try again in the summertime to early fall.

Sian I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you are feeling OK physically. I personally have not experienced an ectopic but I have friends who have and later were able to deliver healthy babies ... so there is hope! Big hugs to you.

I am going thru another nightmare and I'm convinced its ectopic.
I'm also getting to the point where I dont want to do this anymore.

I think I've had a m/c instead, I had lots of cramping and passed something.

Unfortunately for me I cant get the whole ectopic thing out of my head, as soon as I get pg I begin to panic, mainly about having to go to the hospital. I've even had a hospital bag packed for 2 weeks now!!

I have a scan on tuesday where there probably wont be anything to see. However if this was a m/c then at least I can put the ectopic worry to rest.

I know its still early days for you, but has any one mentioned getting your tubes checked (maybe you have)

Hope you are healing well.

Clare

I have been home 2 weeks from having an ectopic as well as the tube removed at the onset of tube rupture. I was 8-9 weeks. I understand the emotions and thoughts you are having. It has been a difficult time to understand since I found out the same day as the emergency surgery.

My heart goes out to you and your family during this time. I am open to further communications as emotional healing will take longer for everyone during the next few months.

I am so sorry. I had an ectopic after doing IUI. So disappointing. I had the Methotrexate shot.
