Hi Everybody!

This is so silly, I feel like I have stage freight - and all I'm doing is typing on my computer!!! But I'm very excited to have found this site!!

Anyway, I'm 28 yrs old and have been diagnosed for about 6 years. We've been hoping to get PG for the past 4 years without trying too terribly hard (as far as med's go). I tried metformin twice, but couldn't tolerate it - I was really bummed because my doctor convinced me that it would "fix" me.
Anyhow, I was also put on clomid a year and a half ago to get PG, but still didn't ovulate. My doctor increased the dosage - but I had to stop because I ended up changing jobs and decided that I wanted to build some tenure before getting pregnant. So we're going to start trying again in January, but Doc says if the new dosage doesn't work - he'll only increase the dosage one more time, because of the risk involved. I try not to think about it, but EVERYBODY asks: "When are you having kids?", "Why don't you have kids?", "Don't you want kids?" and my very favorite "Where are our Grand-Babies?"....I don't think they realize how much it really hurts sometimes.....

Im sure the cysters in the 'Mother Hood' area would be lots more help to ya! haha Im glad you found SC! Its the best thing that i could ever find! The women here have really helped me out loads! My mom is not a real believer in in doctors so im on this path alone....well, with my trusty cysters of course!

Maybe check the Metformin board -- it might answer some of your questions about the troubles you've had with it.

And feel free to vent on the ttc board. I and many other cysters can get frustrated with the baby questions that get thrown at us. But there is hope!
