I'm still stunned , shocked, and in disbelief- in no particular order. Bouts of tears burst through as well, in a random way throughout the day.
I started running for one hour a day three days ago when I got the news. I've gained thirty pounds in the last year, and honestly my diet is the same as its always been. Its the most maddening thing to get on the scale and always see it climbing and climbing. Not unlike Alice in Wonderland.
I'm on Metformin- well I only took two pills and had a rear explosion and am on a break from that. My MD told me about it, I never heard about it before. I was sure I had endometriosis. He's been trying to tell me I have this now for about a year. When I last saw him, I said , 'oh no, what I have is a Thyroid problem, hand over some Synthryoid or Armour.' But he's stubborn and wouldn't concur with my dx. He's really cute too, its hard to have a young and cute MD , and talk about girl stuff. He's technically the partner of my MD, who is a female and they cover for each other when the other is out of town.
Yeast infection question- does anyone else feel like they have a yeast infection from this? In the last few months I 've been having the feeling of yeast infections and have been on meds that handle it and then it pops up again. Quite strange.
Does it seem to anyone else that our ovaries might just need a good cleaning? Why can't they just get in there with some Ovary easy - off and clean 'em out? How difficult can it be so clean out a cyst ?
Children- I'm still holding out hope that I can have at least one child.
I just wish this were all a bad dream.
I have to get rid of stress from my life, geez, thats a tall order for one from Los Angeles. I guess my MA graduate degree won't happen then.
I know it feels like you are in the middle of a tornado and your life is all upside down. You need to take one thing at a time. At least you now know what is going on and you can try and take every measure to control the issue.
Ovary Easy off made me laugh! :-)
Have hope, I have read many stories on here from people who kicked PCOS's butt!!
