hi ladies, just wanted to introduce myself, im faye (29) OH is 40, i have an 8 year old daughter from a previous relationship. me and OH started ttc in aug 08, unfortunately ive had 5 m/c's since then....cant seem to get passed 6 weeks.

i was diagnosed with PCOS in 1997 but conceived my daughter by a beautiful mistake. was re scanned in march of this year and still have PCOS but only on right ovary. i have weight issues (probably about 2 stone over weight) and seem to carry this completely round my middle and thighs!

ive had various tests at a recurrent m/c clinic which im waiting for the results and should get them in july. (tested my LH, FSH, antiphospholipids syndrome, chromosome abnormalities).

my doctor is currently talking about putting me on metformin and prometrium (it seems lack of progesterone is causing my m/c although cant be 100% sure). can any of you give me any success stories from being on either of these? im kind of looking forward to progressing further with the help of met etc but not looking forward to side affects!!!!

I was just diagnosed with pcos & I am curious if anyone else has had lots of side affects from metformin?My dr told me that I would feel like throwing up a lot but I have only been on it for a day & its been horrible.
