Another NPC question

I took NPC and AF arrived 10 days later. She stayed for 11-12 days. Once she arrived I quit taking the NPC. I started to use it again on day 14. Am I doing the right thing or should I have waited a little longer since the witch was here for so long? Because if the same pattern follows and she comes 10 days after the day I start to use the NPC, then she'll be here on cd24 rather than cd 28.

the way the Dr. told me what on the 12th day after your cycle starts start the cream for 12 days then stop your cycle should start and then wait 12 days again.
