hi mate,

looks quite ok but is a lot of what i already knew, using low GI foods, eat little and often those kinds of things.

But they do recommend nuts and seeds such as flax, pumpkin and sesame. So i think i may have a go at that and also the eating often thing.

Also has a 5 day meal planner that looks good, May try it but a bit busy at the mo.

Hi!
Ofcourse I will....

I use :

normal prridge oats (about 90% of the mix is oats i would say but i done measure i just mix in till it looks right!)
pumpkin seeds
sunflower seeds
flaked almonds
sultanas

then i mix them up into a big tupperware and it lasts me about a fortnight of breakfasts. each day i take it to work in a little tupperware and add either a banana or some raspberries/kiwi/strawberries etc and either natural yogurt or skimmed milk.

I buy the nuts/seeds etc from Morrisons from like the bakingy section and use half a packet with each mix - i was using a whole packet to the same amount of oats but realised i didnt need so many for it still to taste crunchy etc.

im meant to be on the GI diet - and think this kinda fits in (not sure about the sultanas, but tried it without and it didnt taste so nice) but that was before i was also adding fresh fruit so maybe it would be ok to try without them again.

i have a wheat intollerence which is why i make my own coz i was struggling to find low GI breakfasts that didnt include some sort of wheat and i also like the feeling that its quick and easy once its made up and yet unlike some 'quick' foods i know exactly whats in it and its all natural!

honestly its YUMMY!

xx
