Hello Cysters,

I have been taking Metformin since Sept. 2008 and trying to get my periods regular, but they haven't come. So At the beginning of Feb. I took progesterone and started my period on Feb. 13-Feb. 20. Well I went to the bathroom today and there is red blood and brown blood again. Is this a new period?? Surely I have nothing left of my wall to shed right?? Has this happened to anyone?? I am not having any pain with this "period" like cramping or anything. Is this something I should worry about, should I be calling the doctor and making an appointment?? I am just a little worried...

I'm almost mirroring you.I have been on met since aug/sept.Just had first af(19th feb) had pains in ovary(right) on (25th feb) and now started spotting(25th feb).Wish I knew what was going on.

oh i went through that aswell. it would be helpful if someone can help with this. after starting Met since 1st Jan 2009 i got 2 periods. after my second period on cd 20 i got a very light red/brown period and lasted about 4 days. i wernt sure if this would be classed as a period or not. can anyone help... thanks....
