Talking Another Question.........Dosage

Me again.

After insisting to be put on Glucophage, my dr complied and started me on 1000mg in late Sept. He instructed me to take it all at night with dinner and that if I didn't have a period at least every 6 weeks to let him know. I did as I was told with really no side effects. I really didn't know how much of a blessing that was until reading this board! Anyway, 6 weeks later I have a period, 6 weeks after that I have another. I'm thinking this is too good to be true! This time 6 weeks has passed me by. It's now been 8 weeks with no period in sight. During the last month the pharmacy did switch me from Glucophage to Metformin ER with the same mgs. Could that switch cause the delay in my period? I've also been on antibiotics (see my other post). Could that effect the way it's absorbed? Do I need to stop asking so many questions and just call my doctor already??

Hmm...not sure about the antibiotics and Met. It wouldn't hurt to call your doctor. It could be just because your whole body is out of whack from being so sick. That is awesome that Met has brought on AF for you twice. Could you be PG?

I've taken 2 tests to be sure I'm not pregnant.
