Another Unique Group? I am new to the site and am very thankful for finding it. I do not know if this is the right place to post this but thought it was a good place to start.
Can we start a unique cyster group for women who are not TTC and never plan to again but are treating their PCOS to control the symptoms and long term health effects of PCOS. I would think that there are plenty of us. Myself, for examlple. I am 39 years old have been diagnosed with PCOS since 1984, have one child who is 16. I ignored my PCOS for years and as a consequence have gained over 70 pounds, haven't had an AF in more years than I can remember, have very high triglycerides (438), very insulin resistant but not yet diabetic and can grow Elvis style sideburns faster than my husband and son.
I love this site and have visited often since I recently joined but do think that much of it does not apply to me. I think it would be benifical to other Cysters such as myself to find each other.
Thank you for listening. Lori
