Default anti androgens or metformin for hairloss??

So i was wondering something when it comes to treat hairloss in a pcos context.

the aim is first to lower androgens. But let's say that in a women , metformin and antiandrogens like spiro or androcur are as successful in lowering the androgens....would met still be less effective???
i was thinking this because met lower androgenes but that is it, when androcur and spiro also have an effect on the androgene receptors of the body ...like i think neutralising the effect on androgens on those cells???
Am I wrong???
what do you think??

Metformin did not work for me and worsened every PCOS symptom I had. Spiro stopped my hair shedding, but I never regrew any bald spots. Spironolactone works by reducing production of testosterone from the adrenal glands, as well as stopping the conversion of existing estrogen to testosterone (and vice versa). Some studies show it competing mildly with DHT at hair follicle sites.

HI! Metformin has helped me to stop losing so much hair on my head. I've tried diet alone and I've also tried cinnamon. I am currently TTC; however, the one positive side effect of metformin has been that I am not losing hair like I used to. I'm sure it does different things for different people, but it's been all positive for me! No side effects and I think I'm ovulating. :o)
