Default Anti depressants

Hi, I'd like some advice. I seem to have a fantastic doctor, he's very understanding and helpful in ost ways and always ready to help me. However, I went to him last year during a particularly bad patch of depression. He wouldn't give me anything to help me and said it woiuld pass (thankfully it did)however, he said he couldn't treat me for it unless he was sure it was hormonal or mental. I had just been confirmed as having PCOS for the 2nd time through a gynae. any ideas? I'm feeling clouds coming over me again and I'm really fed up

I spent several years on and off anti depressants and other drugs for mental illness. They work for some people but it can be very hard to find the right thing for you. I would suggest you try a more natural route if your depression sparks up again especially if its not a constant thing. Perhaps seeing a therapist is a good way to start and after a while get their input on what you need. Some side effects of anti depressants make you even more depressed. Especially when they can be physical and mental side effects. good luck.
