Question Anti-Depressants???

Wondering what we are all on. I'm currently on Zoloft 50mg day. I hope this poll helps, maybe this way we don't feel alone in taking these anti-depressants.

I've been on Wellbutrin for about 6 months. Lately I've been feeling depressed and may need to change over to another med.

Arrow Paxil

I have taken Paxil for about a year....and about a year and a half prior to that...(stopped for about 6 months in the middle...but that didn't work out so well). I notice an incredible difference...I used to get horrible panic attacks...Usaully when I felt 'out of control'...ie stuck in traffic, on an airplane, riding the the back seat...Hmmm? Never realized they were all transportation related?? haha I hope all the cysters understand that taking medication like this is not a weakness...it is just one of those things that make us better...more 'normal'... I would encourage anyone to at least try some meds if they have depression, anxiety, etc. I wish I had started taking something eariler...I used to be up all night long with worry. I have slept well for last two years and that didn't come from no where. Good luck ladies.

I've been on Wellbutrin SR, can't remember how long, it's in my signature

It has helped me tremendously but now I am coming to some realizations that are really shaking me up!!

I am also in counseling, I strongly recommend anyone on antidepressants to use counseling as part of the treatment, if you can afford it.

I'm currently taking 20mg of Lexapro.

I was on Zoloft, but it didn't seem to be helping.

Default Interesting thread...

I am not on antidepressants, I do take St. John's Wort when I am feeling particularly down...which seems to be a lot lately... And I consider antidepressants about once a month. It is interesting to see other people's experiences. I am sseeing a counselor and he does not recommend medication at this time, but I wish I had something to make this whole thing a little easier. Sorry if this is off-topic, I just thought I would throw in my 2 cents.

Question Wellbutrin SR and Vitex interaction?

I have seen 1 bit of info regarding a drug interaction with Vitex for Wellbutrin. Wellbutrin has changed my life over the past 6 months, but I truly wonder if my depression and anxiety is linked to PCOS (I just recently had a cyst burst). I have always been miserable with PMS and I can honestly say for about 2-3 weeks out of the month I couldn't be a meaner person. The Wellbutrin has brought me back to normal. Does anyone know if there is definitely a drug interaction with Wellbutrin and Vitex. I would love to try Vitex, but I won't until I either find out that there isn't an interaction or I wean myself off of the Wellbutrin...any info out there?

Like the others that posted about Wellbutrin, I've been taking it for almost two years now. I've done very well on it until recently. I'm going to the doctor today to discuss the possibility of changing the meds. I've gone through some pretty traumatic things recently and not coping well at all.

I would like to know about this too. You don't technically have to wean from the Wellbutrin if you want to go off it but my psychiatrist warned me there is a big risk of relapse for people who suffer from depression.

I've read some really scary things about interactions with Wellbutrin, let me know what you find out. Maybe we should start a new thread about this.
