Question anti-inflammatories making cysts worse

I'm taking diflunisal (an anti-inflammatory) for my knee and it's making my cysts horrible!!!! I've talked to my knee doctor and he admitted that this medication can have this effect and told me that I'll have to balance out the symptoms and medication depending on how I'm feeling. It's a horrible choice--either a painful and swollen knee or painful cysts! I've got a GYN appointment on Monday---any suggestions for anything I can ask for to help me out with this? I'm starting to feel pretty desperate! Anyone else ever go through this one?
Thanks!

Ask him about Celebrex (if you are not allergic to Sulfa).

I know it is a very good anti-inflammatory. You take it only once a day. Usually pretty well tolerated.

Good luck!

I have also heard excellent things about Celebrex.
Is the anti-inflam your taking a non-steroidal. Would you get the same side effects with advil or some other NSAID?
