 Antibiotics and Periods!
Hiya, I used to visit this site a while ago, but them we moved and I have been flat out and finally managed to get back on.
Ok, I was on Levlen (type of Contraceptive Pill) as we are not ttc'ing at the moment, but I was also on Antibiotics for a boil (very painful things). So, I took the last active pill last Saturday and waited for AF to arrive, I had all the symptoms, the bloating, the cramps, the backache, the need to kill men. And then NOTHING. Then on Thursday it dawned on me that the Antibiotics would have screwed around with the pill, making them worthless, So, fine, this was fine. I had taken the last antibiotic last Sunday, so I figured that I would start taking the pill again THIS Sunday and next time everything would be fine.
HOWEVER, I wake up this morning and AF is here, Stomach cramps and bloating and all. And it is not a bleed through, it is here in full force.
Does anyone know why it would take forever to turn up? Would it be the antibiotics screwing, or is it just my system having a joke with me????
