this is just an idea but what if a few of us who have knowledge on pcos call oprah or montel williams , and go spread some wisdom to other women and raise awareness of this silent diease? they will pay for the trip and hotel stay plus it gives a few of the cysters to corrospond in person.

That is such a good idea! Ill tell ya what, the first time i ever heard about PCOS is through reading womans day magazine at a friends house. I remember thinking to myself, wow that lady has all the same problems and symptoms that i have! But then when i asked my friend to save the article, she threw it out on accident. Then about 6 months later, my gyne told me about it after seeing all my symptoms! I dont know about you, but everytime i tell someone new that i have PCOS the first thing out of their mouth is Whats that?????? Go figure! I think if more women were to know about this syndrome, the better...Maybe then, women would start asking more questions to their drs when they are feeling there is something that just isnt right!

the firt time i ever heard of it i was 20 years old , a friend of mine told me about seeing it on oprah she recorded it for me cus it seemed linkable ... bang exact match... and i lived with fulled blowen symptoms from about 14-15 to 20 never asking a thing thinking it was in my genes? we should really try and do this , the more women we can provide help for the better , plus its a great promotion tool for this wonderfull very usefull and educational site kat has here. i"d love to hear her spread the word of pcos and tell her story. lets get together and work out the details if you want you can email me here ny_angelz_@webtv.net

I know that Kat mentioned in the announcements that she is working on getting a show done with oprah. She has requested 'success' stories to share in hopes that she will be able to shed light on PCOS and what can be done about it.
