Default Any advice for the pain?

I have really painfull cyst acne on my face. Usually lots all around each other or on top of each other that last for a couple of weeks, then when they go another lots more come up on my face never has a chance to recover before another batch!

I also get very bad ulcers in my mouth which I assume is connected. Sorry for the gross detail but often it's the cysts on my face appear go right through the skin & face and out the other side in my mouth or inside my cheek in an bad ulcer form.

If anyone does have any advice on how to help the cysts being so painful I'd really appreciate it. My face usually hurts too much to even smile or laugh and the ulcers make it painful to eat.

Creams the doctors have supplied never work, it just dried my skin out terribley. I'm only Dianette which was apparently meant to help the acne but after a few months it appears to be worse.

It really is depressing

Ibuprofen will help with the pain, but you don't want to take that long term. As for the sores in your mouth, I'v heard that the supplement Lysine can be helpful.

I use to get acne that bad, it hurt so much, I tried everything I could think of and nothing seemed to help, the only releaf I would get was when I would use a mud mask to help pull the stuff out but it wouldn't go away. I use to get it on my jaw line, around my mouth and nose.
I am not sure what cleared it up for me but here is what I did. I went on metformin and within three months the acne was gone. I only get a few with AF now. I also started useing mary kay three in one cleanser and moisteriser with sunblock in the morning, and the spot mary kay spot acne treatment. at night I use the oil of olay facial wash cloths. So I don't know if it was one of those or the combo.
