Another conservative Christian here. We attend a non-denominational christian church. I wasn't brought up in church but attended a pentecostal church in my teens. DH was brought up Mormon but didn't believe as his family did. We both have similar beliefs and are a great fit. We were attending church regularly but since having DS it has been more of a challenge... and go about 1/2 of the time. Hopefully we can get into the routine again soon.

I am believing God for conquering this thing, meds have not worked well, so it's going to be prayer, faith, and natural supplements. I believe that god is going to do above all that we can ask or think, pregnancies, marriages, weight loss, joy and victory. So glad to meet spirit filled sisters being delivered from the same challenges. |

God has actually very recently rekindled my fire for Him. My desire to be a mother is very strong, and we were spoiled by a BFP immediately after stopping BCP. That ended in a miscarriage, but then we got pregnant again right away - with twins!
One of the twins died early on, and the second one made it to about 14 - 15 weeks. That drama all went down in the beginning of May, and from that, I got to enjoy all the different complications that miscarriage has to offer. It took about a month of being in and out of the hospital, nearly losing my life, then nearly losing my uterus, and lots, and lots of feeling sick before it was all over.
Despite all the complications, God's healing hands are working wonders. The doctor said that I would not be cleared to get pregnant again until August or September (due to severe blood-loss anemia), but I now find myself doing MUCH better, cleared by the doctor to get pregnant now(3 months sooner!), and waiting for an O in the next few days.
God has taught me so much in the last few weeks. I sometimes wonder why God took my children home so soon, but I now know that He gave me my daughter for a short time to show me just how powerful He is.
My perspective on life has changed so much, and life is just so much less scary knowing that God is going to carry me through anything that comes my way.
I look forward to getting to know you ladies.

How wonderful that you were cleared to TTC earlier than you thought! What a miracle.
I'll be confessing God's promises all over this thread! Keep us updated on your situation!

Points: 74.96 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 74.96 | Hi victorious ladies. Walking in the fulness of His promises. Bearing much fruit! I am believing God for a husband. So I am not to the baby state yet, but i want to encourage you- my bulletin board at work is covered in miracle babies. Babies born when it was said it was limited or no possibility. One friend had tried for years, it seems to me she had PCOS symptoms but she never received a diagnosis of it. She and her husband continued to stand on His word and His love, and one day in the middle of church service, someone gave them a prophetic word "change the office into a nursery you are getting ready to bring forth a child". We all immediately rejoiced because we felt the confirmation in the spirit. the next day I was led to purchase them a Baby's First Bible, one week later- she announced her pregnancy. And 2 years later, I am going to the shower for her soon coming twins on saturday. Yes 3 girls. I know God blesses in diverse ways, but I pray this stregthens you, and may you continue to be comforted in your loss, and all of us drawn closer to the father's heart as He perfects that which He has started. |

I know there is some good friendships to be gained here! I look forward to reading about what God is going to do in all of our lives.
My husband and I believe that the God allowing the infertitility is because he wants us to show our love to a little child who wouldn't have it otherwise. I have made the choice to have a healthier lifestyle and if God desires to honor that with a preganancy I will be forever grateful. But in the meantime I am looking forward to 2008 when we can put our application in for adoption at a Christian adoption agency!
(better get back to work! could spend all day on here!)
TTYL-Blessings to you all!

I have another testimony of a friend who adopted and God blessed he and his wife with 2 absolutely beautiful babies. They are a joy to their family. And then she got pregnant (wasn't suppose to happen). I pray in your adoption process He will really bless you all in this walk of faith.

I am a baptist pastor's daughter from West Central Illinois. I'm recently married (December), and we have been "unofficially" ttc ever since. We were blessed with a pregnancy in March, only to miscarry a few days after finding out. But, God works in all things, right ladies? I recently graduated from nursing school and acquired a job at my local hospital in the OB department (I LOVE IT!!!!). I'm enjoying a school-free time--which has never happened for me!!! So, it's exciting. My DH will be attending his senior year at a private college this school year and hopes to go to grad school for computer animation. I know God has much in store for us in the years to come! I look forward to getting to know all of you and praying fervently for you! God Bless!!!
