Any Cysters with high BP?

I posted this on the Do You Have This Problem board, but no response. Maybe it will do better over here.

If you are a cyster with high blood pressure and taking meds for PCOS (Met and/or Spiro), do you have one doctor who manages all your meds, or do you have to go to a different doctor for you BP med?

My family doctor changed my BP med when my gyn put me on Met & Spiro a few months ago. He said the high dose of Spiro would lower my BP. I was taking atenolol/chlorthalidone 50/25 (aka Tenorectic) and it was working great. He changed it to atenolol only and cut that dose in half to 25 mg. Since chlorthalidone is a diuretic, he's letting the Spiro do that job. Now my BP is running high. I can always tell that it is. I feel tense and jittery. My home monitor confirms it (138/100 last night). I just hate to be running between two doctors to deal with this problem. It would be nice to have one doc manage them all. Would an endo manage my BP meds and my PCOS meds?

I'm really bummed about my BP acting up. I've lost 25 pounds. You'd think it would be better, not worse.

Weird. I have high BP too, they told me to just lose weight. They dont want to put me on meds. Especially since I dont even take the ones they want me to as it is!
