well..I live in south of finland, in the Archipielago, 3 km from the beach...hehehe...havent had the oportunity to go to the beach because of work is hard in summer...hope to have some time this summer... Its not so warm yet...only 8 to 10 degrees. Finland cold country!!! Miss my Peru though!

i am not very close to the sea, a couple of hrs. i am one hr far from mountains (and france) though. if i was so close to the sea i'd probably bealways there not concluding anything with my university studies lol! (but i'd be so wonderfully tanned..:))

Hello. I used to live Italy. I lived in Sicily and I now live in Japan. I found a few things on research that were happening in Italy while I lived there and found they were having higher DX rates for Italians. I loved it. But i love Japan too. Good to see I am not the only other American transplant.
from sicily to japan.. what a huge cultural shock!!!! lol

Yes we joke and said we went from the flintstones to the Jetsons. We live about 15 mins south of Yokohama. I love it. We are far enough out of the larger busier places yet still close enough we don't feel so remote. In Sicily I often felt like we were where time had forgotten.Sometimes charming and quaint. Sometimes down right annoying, or scarey! Fay22 Hope you get to join him. It is unique but I have never heard of someone not liking it here. So clean the people are so nice.
