Busy! I had to go to the farmer's market for my meat then I had to go to wal-mart, then I had a hair appointment...all in different areas of town of course. I had lots of cleaning to do and didn't get much done. LOL

Today, even though going to be Hot. I gave my DH my cold.....needless to say, he is a big baby and doesnt want to go anywhere. I have to go to Costco and walmart, FAN hunting...lol

How is everyone doing? It's day 27 for me. I'm still seeing some changes but it's slowing down a bit (actually I'm slowing down a bit). I've been too tired to walk as much as I'd like to this week. Between the weather and allergies, I have all I can do to put in a 8 1/2 hour day at work. I've got four days off in a row so I hope to get back to walking at least 1.5 miles a day. Believe it or not, I just got a pet stroller for my cat Sox so I can take him with me! I'll probably feel like a fool, but the poor little guy stays indoors all the time. It's just to dangerous to let him out on his own. We'll see how he does this weekend.

Still no big cravings. I'm still having one extra dark Hershey's chocolate stick a day (only 60 calories and 6 carbs!). Probably giving up bread is the toughest. My work area is near the office kitchen. There's a toaster oven and several people toast their English muffins, bread, and bagels. Oh the smell! So far I've been good. I'm also continuing to stay away from the vending machines and fast food. We had birthday cake at the office. I brought in a platter of fruit. I didn't have too much fruit (because of the sugar and carbs) but I had something so I didn't feel left out when everyone else had cake. Actually I was surprised how many folks really loved the fruit.

I'm getting a little tired of the same foods, and I'm searching for more recipes and ideas especially for lunch. Hopefully I can come up with a meal plan before I go grocery shopping again.

I'm wearing a pedometer every day and keeping track of my steps. Hopefully I can do better next week.

Hey all. Getting ready to head for dinner and a movie. (INDY 4) Hope everyone has a great weekend.

OMG you guys. my DH's old cat is starting to have accidents on the new carpet. It kind of put a damper on our evening, because I dont want to go anywhere because she is pissing everywhere.

Melissa-- have you every had Weight Watchers Giant fudge bars??? They are really good.

No I haven't Sunny. I'll definitely check them out when I go grocery shopping later today. I've printed out a few recipes to try for breakfast and lunch. I've had scrambled eggs and sausage (or bacon) every weekday for a month now. I'm ready for a change..maybe crustless quiche or something (something I can warm up in the microwave instead of making every single morning).

I certainly feel for you regarding the kitty. I had a cat that started to lose it everywhere. It was horrible. Hope you can get away for the holiday weekend.

Thanks for your optimisim. We are not going anywhere. Money is tight. But DH has plans to finish unpacking and rearranging everything. I hope we get good weather.

hello ladies! it's good to see the progress you all are making on your weight loss. as for me, i am STILL teetering between 284-286 on the scale. it's frustrating me! i started to get encouraged when i saw 283, but sure enough when i hop on the scale today it was back to 284. it has to be the carbs. i'm doing my best to eat whole grains but i know that the reason why i'm not losing like i was before is because i'm not on phase 1 of SBD and i've dropped down to 4x/wk workouts instead of the 6x/wk. there's 4 days left of school and i'm moving out of my classroom so getting my belongings packed up and finishing my report cards are taking priority for now. after memorial day, the gym will not be open on sundays, and i've been taking saturdays off as my day of rest. there's no childcare offered on the weekends and it's getting harder to find someone to watch my son while i work out because he's been having some problems lately.

i will be going on a 2 week vacation starting june 8 (yippee) and i really want to lose the 50lbs by then. looks like i'll be working my butt off the first week of june eh? lol

Just found this thread and thought I would join. I have been stuck above the 300 mark for most of the last eight years. I can get down to 301 and it is like a brick wall or something. I have not got the scales in months but I think I am still around 330.
