Default any drugs for hair thinnning???

do you know, of any drugs that may/or are available for hair thinning!!.......im on metformin, and have been back on it for a bout 3 weeks....and i have noticed my hair is started to thin real bad..........when i was on met before, i came off it at 31 weeks pregnant, and all the time i was pregnant, i had no problems with any pcos symptons....but now its real bad, the hair thing is getting to me....maybe i need to give met more time to kick in again???

any advice knowledge???

been ttc for 15 years..diagnosed 16 years ago...had clomid..ovarian drilling..to no avail!!.....started met jan 2002.....shock..pregnant ..baby son born 8 weeks early via emergency c-section,4th feb 2003.due to PLACENTA ABRUPTION!..(both told we are very lucky to be here), second surprise pregnancy, beautiful girl born 4 weeks early via sucessful vbac!,
update: 3rd baby born 8th august, another girl, via 2nd sucessful vbac!

Spironalactone helps with hairloss. Ask your provider if it would work for you. OF course labs may be in order to rule out causes of hairloss as well. Good luck! Jen

Met does help some women with their receding hairlines (I know KY Bluegrass says her hair is moving in the right direction).

After 3 weeks, Met is not even fully built up in your system yet. It may help if you give it more time, but you may also get more answers on the section of the board that's called "Does anyone else have this problem?". That forum would have more knowledge of the other treatments for this problem.
