Default Any Emotional Changes

I was just wondering if any of you ladies experienced emotional changes after being on Metformin for a length of time.

I was thinking about our hormone levels changing and for some of us that means estrogen may take over where male hormones have controlled.

Did anyone noticed they cry more, or feel more nurturing or anything like that?

Hello Again Billee Jean,

I noticed some changes the first time I was on Met. This time I have been a little more weepy and I am a little more moody. I have found that the exercising has greatly helped those symptoms though. Exercising tends to make me real energetic and happy. Maybe I am just weird though.

Default Doing Good

Hey Praynmama!

I've been doing so good with Met, that I went ahead to 1500mg a week early. I was afraid of all the bad bathroom effects I read about, but haven't had any. I have dealt with nausea in the mornings but my Mom told me I need to time my pills better. So I'm going to do 9am 3pm and 9pm. And hope that helps. I also started taking my vitamin with lunch instead of breakfast.

I'm taking your suggestion and making myself exercise even if I don't feel like it. My energy level seems to be up today. What kind of exercises do you like to do? So far I just do the treadmill, but I need to mix it up a little.

YAY!! I am glad everything seems to be working out for you. I am so glad that you are not having the bathroom issues. I am and it is cool! I run to the bathroom all the time. If it keeps up I am going to call the doc. Other than that I am doing fine. I hope I get the chance to chat with you some more.
