This is the new script I got today. The doc said a lower estrogen monophasic should help with the libido and depression issues I am experiencing. I'm just wondering who else has tried it and any feedback?

I tried it, twice actually. I felt great on this one. No mood swings, not tired and felt no depression. I did however see my skin and hair(extra kind) increase. It wasn't as bad as not being on the pill at all but I am soooooo sick of dealing with skin and extra hair I had to run from it. I always wondered if I should have added spiro. to the Alesse since it was great in every other way but I feel I'm on too many meds. now so I went with ortho tri cyclen and have been on it a month and a half. I'd definately give it a whirl! Good luck with the libido-that's the worse part of BC pills in my opinion.

Thanks, I appreciate the response. I do have some hair issues, but I don't have the skin ones, so hopefully this will be a good choice for me. Really if the choice is between coping with the hair growth and being depressed and feeling lousy about my sex life, I can cope with some hair.

The tricyclen definately worked for me for regulating my cycle and slowing the hair a lot, so hopefully you will like it.
