Default Any George Foreman Grillers out there???

Does anyone have recipes that I can use on my GFG? I've had it for 2 or 3 years but I've never used it. I simply hate cooking, but I'm tired of wasting money at restaurants and on evil fast food.

I just got it a few days ago!... I've just been doing the normal grilling (beef, chicken and pork). My only suggestion is to not leave it on too long... it tends to dry the meat quickly.

I'd love to see what recipies other people have!

Good luck!

We use ours for burgers and chicken for dinner. We even use it for breakfast. It's good for sausage, thick cut bacon, and grilled cheese sandwiches. The meat does sometimes get dry, but I think since we've had more practice with it, we've learned how to avoid that. A lot of times we do turkey burgers instead of ground beef. It's really tasty with A-1 steak sauce grilled on. I wasn't sure if i'd like it in the beginning, but we use it often now. Good luck!

almost anything you do on the grill or in a pan can be done on the griller. i have a combination GF griller/roaster. i wasn't very satisfied with that particular model b/c the teflon or whatever it is they coat it with chipped off. now everytime i cook something in it i get little flecks of black paint on the meat. i'm certain that's not part of a nutritious diet:-)

We've used ours for steaks, hamburgers, and bacon. The only thing I didn't like was I thought the bacon didn't get as evenly done as it would in a flat pan. My favorite thing to make on mine is grilled cheese, but you can use it for other kinds of sandwiches that you'd grill too.

i do the normal stuff with mine...such as hamburgers and steaks and what not....but i love to do fajitas with mine....just cut up chicken or steak and whatever veggies you want and put them in there....i usually do my meat first...and wait until it is almost cooked and then wipe of the juices...throw the veggies on and finish the veggies and the meat....grill my tortillas on there or in the bun warmer...if yours have that...and yum yum yummy....i think there is even a cookbook that came with mine and a video...but i never watched it but it might have ideas...or do a google search for foreman ideas...hth...christie

We make marinated boneless porkchops on there, and they come out DELISH! Its a WW recipe too. Easy:

1/2 C original molasses
1/4 C soy sauce (I use low sodium)
1/4 tsp. garlic powder

mix together and marinate for up to 4 hours.

If you use the thinner cut meat, I wouldn't marinate for more than 1.5 -2 hours....the taste can be strong. Yummy!
