I'm from Kansas, but I've had no luck finding any doctors knowledgeable about PCOS near me, so I'm branching out. I'm thinking I'd travel several hours each way if need be, or possibly even fly somewhere, if I could see someone who really knew what they were talking about and were willing to really help me.

I'd be willing to consider a doctor anywhere in the Midwest, as far west as Colorado, as far east as Iowa, as far North as North Dakota, and as far South as Texas, or anywhere in between.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Try the Mid Dakota Center for Women in North Dakota! The Doctors there are VERY knowledgeable when it comes to PCOS! They've helped me conceive one baby, and are now helping me conceive #2. I was diagnosed with PCOS over 10 years ago in my teens by my current doctor.

I am in Colorado and have an AWESOME RE clinic. It is Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine. They say that between 25% and 50% of their patients are out of state and best of all they know all about PCOS. In addition, you can have a consult over the phone, before you invest the time to travel out here.

I've been very happy with my endocrinologist at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN - her name is Dr. Helen Karakaleides. Unfortunately she's now out of network fo rme so I'm looking for another doctor, however if I don't find one I will just suck it up and pay Mayo's fees outright so I can keep seeing her!
