Hello! I am new here (but a long-time lurker)

and just moved to Asheville about a year ago and am looking for a good doctor. I would say that maybe my PCOS is "mild," with only some weight gain (low carbing has helped A LOT) and irregular periods, however I'm also only 23, so I want to do everything I can for my body now so that I can be on top of things when I get older.
So I'm trying to find a doctor. The last one, although she was just a medical student, kind of went, "oh, yeah PCOS. I've heard that can be really bad. We should give you a pap smear." Thanks kiddo. If I'm going to be really uncomfortable, it's going to be for a reason, not just because that's what you were taught to do when someone has "female problems."
Anybody got a good doctor in Asheville, NC (the coolest town in the world...I'm sure there's got to be a few good docs here)? I've actually got a really good benefits plan right now through my job, so I think that most stuff will be covered.
P.S>I think that all of you cySTARS are awesome, and am so glad to have taken the plunge in becoming a member!
