Default Any Guatemala Mom's Out There

We adopted Clayton from Guatemala in 2006. He came home in JUly 06 adn we could not be any happier.

Just wondering if there are any other PCOS Guatemala Madre's on the forum. I would love to hear from you.

2001 DX with PCOS
TTC for 6 years no luck
2005 Began adoption process
7/2/2006 became a mother to ds
2008 decided to get PCOS in check
Meds: Spiro, Met and YAZ (BC)

me, me, me!!!!!

We brought Zander home Dec '06 @ 6 months and just got out of PGN with Brayden who is 9 months. We are hoping to travel the end of next month. (mixco BC)

Just your typical morbidly obese, lap band surgery hopeful, facial hair having, hair shedding, IR, hashimoto dx'd, acid reflux cursed, no period experiencing, hump having, infertile cyster!

Medications:
Levothyroxine 200 mcg
Metformin 1500 mg
Ortho-cyclen (until surgery)

That is sooo great. Congrats on your 2nd coming out of PGN. I work for the Guatemala program at my agency. It is soo exciting to see all of these children come home. My son is the light of my life.

How long have you been dealing with PCOS? It is the reason we can't get pregnant. I am trying my very best to lose weight and get to a healthier lifestyle but I am just have a rough time right now.

Thanks for responding. It is so good to know I am not the only GT mommy!

I brought home my Son Jan 2008. He is now 19-months old and the light of my life.

grumpyskirtgirl- Congrats on your OUT! I have been watching the progress of adoptions in Guatemala, since I have friends that are still waiting for their children.
