Hi girls,
Well, I am a nervous wreck!! I will have my HSG in about 1 1/2 week and I "have a feeling" that there will be a blockage....WHY? well, after my m/c (i got PG on my 1st try-with no meds) I have not been able to conceive again...I have regular cycles and do ovulate...so the only thing I can think of is that there is a blockage...I have read that a minor blockage (mucous, etc..) can be flushed out by the HSG procedure..BUT what happens if it is a major blockage..what is done then??? If any of you have had this experience please reply....what caused your blockages?

I had my HSG on the 9th of March. I found that my left side is 100% blocked. My right side is 100% clear. I have my follow up appointment Friday to discuss options. If you do have blockage it's not the end of the road. There is surgery, IUI, IVF etc..

My Dr didn't really say. It could be anything from any sort of infection that I have had earlier. I don't exactly know what it was from. I am not sure if a miscarriage could cause blockage. I am sure that you would be able to find that on the net. I found a lot of info on the internet about the HSG before I had it done. I am just happy there are options. I have a whole list of questions for my Dr on Friday, I'll let you know what she says about the causes.
