Question Any idea what this could be?

Hi Cysters! I come here a lot and lurk around, but I never really post anything. So here's a question I figured that no one but my fellow Cysters would be able to help me out with the best

I was diagnosed with PCOS back in Jan of 2007. I am now on 2,000mg of Metformin a day, and was on birth control up until two months ago. After I went off bc (Yasmin), I got a period within 5 weeks! I don't know if it was the aftereffects of being on the pill for so long, but I was happy! Well, happy for about five minutes until the cramping pain set in, lol. The reason I went off birth control is because I was curious to see if I would actually get natural periods on time with just Metformin...I did the first time, but this time if I don't get it within two weeks, I'm going back on Yasmin.

Anyway. There's this weird feeling in my lower abdomen that I've never had before. It's an extremely bloated (way more than usual), stretching, pulling feeling that's constant and very very uncomfortable.

I know for sure that I'm not pregnant. I got my last period March 6th, so I know that normally, I would be due for another period. I don't know if I'm about to get another period, or if I have an ovarian cyst or WHAT. My nipples are also sore, which always happens to me before a natural period - never happens when I'm on the pill.

So, any idea what the constant pulling, swollen/bloated, weird, painful feeling is in my lower abdomen? Could it just be severe pre-menstrual symptoms, or an ovarian cyst? I sometimes get a sharp, pinching feeling across the whole bottom of my lower abdomen for a few seconds but it goes away...the bloated/swollen, pulling feeling doesn't. I've had it for about three days now, and it hasn't gone down one bit. It's absolutely, unbearably uncomfortable and NOTHING will help it go away. Should I give it time to see if it's just PMS, or does it sound like a bad cyst? What should I doooo, please help

Love you all

I was on Yasmin as well last year. Got my final period on the pill in January, then about 2 months later after some horrendous PMS symptoms (including a lot that made me think I was pregnant). I was moody, hungry, strange breast changes as well as severe soreness, cramping, all for several weeks before actually getting my period. I got it 5 or 6 times last year naturally, but they were longer apart than the norm. and now it is April 5th and I haven't had a period since I got it as a present on Christmas Eve. I so thought things were looking up!
