Last August my doctor placed me on Yaz to help control my cycle and help with facial hair and acne. I had a fabulous month, no more spotting as I would spot for weeks on end. Then when I got to the diffrent pills that make you have a cycle I just could not stop bleeding(TMI I know), I literally bled from August until October like gushing. I saw a gyno for the first time which was useless...being dishearted I stopped taking all forms of treatment BCPs, Metformin everything. Naturally I lost scalp hair it hasnt really grown back after stopping the BCPs, and my facial hair and acne is worse.
Im interested in trying Spiro...but Im afraid to try anything in fear of bleeding to death again. I did take 2 ER visits during that 2 month span and was told it was "nature". I live in an extremely rural area and the medical "professionals" here are horrible so I pretty much have to do my own research take it into them and tell them what to give me. Has anyone had any *really* negative effects on Spiro? I also had a hormone panel done last October which the nurse doing it screwed up and it came back as they couldnt read it. My insurance only pays for bloodwork every 6months so as soon as my wait time is up Im going to go back in and have another one done by another nurse.
Any ideas ladies?
