Apparently, we Eastern-European types, of the kugel and cheese blintzes and challah, are especially predisposed to PCOS and other insulin-related conditions.
Have you noticed it in your family? How is diet tied in with your religious/ cultural practice?

Do you know that almost all of the matriarchs and important women of Judaism were infertile for a time? Sarah, Rivkah, Channah and Rachel all had this problem AND overcame it.
As for me, my Dr. thinks I have PCOS, and I am waiting until after Pesach for my blood work. Now that I know the symptoms...I think that it might run in my family as well. | |

FYI, not sure if either of you are TTC or not, but there's a Jewish TTC group of ladies in the TTC Buddies Sub Forum under Infertility & TTC.
