Jazzy: just wanted to mention that we had to deal with male factor infertility and we got pregnant... It can happen. DH was taking zinc, b-complex and vitamin C supplements to help with sperm count, etc. he should definitely go see the urologist like u planned. good luck hth

I'm Mexican born, grew up in the US since I was 8.
I always knew there was something funky with my reproductive system, I started my period when I was 10, and it was never regular. My parents never took me to the doctor, and I didn't think much of it. I finally got diagnosed with PCOS in 2004, after I got married. We've been TTC since 10/2006, and finally got a (+) test! We think we're 6 weeks. I'm so nervous...please pray for me and I will pray for you!
Congrats, Moon! Will definitely pray for you all. I am Latina as well. Dad Puerto Rican and mom Guatemala. Lived in both countries as a child. Born in the east coast but living now in the west.

Puerto Rican .. 32 yrs old trying to get pregnant. I've had PCOS since I got married 2 1/2 yrs ago. I take Metformin and took Clomid for 5 days... today I took the shot! My hubby injected me with Ovidrel, I'm PRAYING it works!

Hi Guys!!! I really thought there were only a couple of Latina cysters here but I see I was wrong! Ive been around the boards since late '06! You can see my siggy for my info.
Both my parents are Nicaraguan, I was born theree also, but I have lived here since I was 1 so this is the only home I have ever known. I am fully billingual and very happy about that. Now I am trying to make sure my son is too!

Oh and I almost forgot, when we started TTC I was 40lbs overweight, I am only 5'1 so that was not cute at all!!! LOL.....anywho I was really stressed and down in the dumps of how hard TTC was. So I took a break and decided that I need to get in shape to help my fertility!
I tried Nurtisystem for 2 months, and it worked!!! I lost almost 30lbs, and then after that went on met and learned to eat better from Nutrisystem and lost the other 10!!! I got preggo only on met totally by surprise, I was going to start clomid on the next cycle!!!
Now I am going to they gym 3 times a week to get toned!!! You guys can do it !!!

I'm Puerto Rican born and raised in Chicago. Diagnosed almost 5 years ago with PCOS. I want children but the hubby is afraid and doesn't want to go through the motions so we have a kitten. I'm new here so it'll be great to make new friends who know what I'm going through.
wow we got almost the whole latin nation here lol.
my nephew is puerto rican mexican and columbian lol and my niece is salvadarian honduras and mexican lol I told my sister what the heck she was with half the latin nation lol
