I am Nicaraguan, But I was raised in Miami FL, now I am currently living in the Twin Cities,MN. I've been checking this web site for a couple of months now, and finally decided to join about a couple of months, I had no idea there were so many latina cysters with my own medical issues.
Mexican, born in Her, Sonora, but I lived 2 years in Guatemala, and 6 in Peru. Now I'm living in Mexico again. My dad has Spanish and Italian ancestors, and my mom Mexican and Chinese.
A curvy Latin at your service! I'm Mexican American (parents are 100% Mex) and am married to a Honduran. I'm new here too. Was just diagnosed this past Tuesday. Been TTC for about 2 years now.
Currently taking Metformin 500 mg, Clomid 50 mg Days 5-9, Prenatals, B-3, Omega-3 Fish Oil, Vitamin C.

what meds were you on when you concieved and how long were you diagnosed before you got pregnant?

I was "officially" diagnosed about 3mos before i got pregnant
I was on prenatal vitamins, 1500 mg metformin and had ovarian drilling performed about a months or so before i got pregnant. good luck HTH!

Both Parents from Puerto Rico I was wondering if any of you heard of the PCOS Insulite Systems?
I've heard of it but I haven't tried it. but, i did want to mention that if u do a search for it I'm pretty sure that there are a few threads abou it. HTH

if you got to the user cp menu in the upper right hand corner, you should find a link to changeor edit ur avatar and then u can select one of the ones that are provided there or load ur own pic. HTH

just wanted to say hello! I was born in brooklyn, ny but both my parents are Ecuadorean. I had my daughter a few months ago and am trying to lose some weight too. Lost all the baby weight now i'm just trying to get to a healthy weight. breastfeeding is definitely helping...

I'm so confused and a mess right now, I have been TTC and lose weight forever and a day I feel like I'm not getting no where! I'm sooo frustrated. I don't want to look at a scale or another opk again you know I try and try to eat right doing low carb I haven't had pasta, bread or rice and ya should know it is a big deal when your a latina my mother cooked rice every darn day but n e way its been a while I have been doing this and it worked for me b4 all of a sudden it isn't. Then we have the OPK my doctor believe that the clear blue easy digital opk is the most accurate one if u have pcos ok fine so then why the hell I got a positive one night then the next after noon neg and then the same day that night a positive and the reason why I tested again was bc I felt those same twinges on my left ovary so I say somethings not right this bs (venting to pple that can relate is my idea of real response if u don't know what I feel u know nothing, that is my analagy) thank u
