If there is anyone out there from Alberta Canada, I'd sure like to know about your experiences. I don't know where to find out a lot of info regarding insurance, clinic stats, what procedures cost here, etc. I'm from north of Edmonton, I'd been seeing an OB/GYN who had me on Clomid (50mgs til it quit working, 100mgs and it didn't work, and 150mgs this month, I ovulated 3 days ago.) and I'd had a HSG which showed both tubes open. I am waiting to hear from the infertility clinic my doc has referred me to. I'd like to go to my first app't knowing what to expect and maybe even able to make some suggestions. I'm big on taking health into own hands. Really, it isn't as important to dr as it is to me for treatment to work. I've done most of the work for myself thusfar, I need some help and direction now.

I am from just outside of Calgary. I have been going to the fertility clinic in Calgary since 1999, took a break (much needed) and will be returning in the new year.
Diagnosed last year with PCOS (although the fertility clinic says they have known longer, just didn't tell me i guess). Moved to many times to really have any physician assist me in managing/treating it, but I am going to get a lot more "forceful".
If you have any questions in regards to IF please email me or reply and I will help all I can.
I am still learning all about this myself even tho I have had it since I was 13 and officially dx when I was 19.
I live in Edmonton and go to one of the best in Alberta in terms of OB-GYN ...
I lived in BC previoulsy in a smaller town/city that really didn't know what was wrong with me at the time. I guess that's the one thing that sucks about them.
Good Luck, I hope someone here will be ale to help you out. Sorry I wasn't much of a help, but know I am in the same boat.
