I've read that doctors have found acupuncture to be helpful with IVF, but as far as I can tell they haven't looked into combining it with IUI. So I was wondering if anyone out there had tried both together and if it Helped.

A co-worker of mine did acupunture + IVF and it was successful for her. Her son will be a year next month.

I too would like to know the statistics with acupunture + IUI

So, I decided to check it out myself...

With speaking with the acupunturist today she informed me that the points she will focus on will help bring better blood flow to the uterus, help shed the lining so that each cycle is clean, and overall, to have a better balance reproductive system. She is thinks that with in the next cycle or two that I should be ovulating on my own. She told me lots of other stuff that I've already forgotten...it was so much information and all of it sounds so good. But at any rate I'll try anything (all legal) to concieve.

I should also add that her speciality is in fertility acupunture, so make sure that the person you meet with specializes in fertility acupunture.

I hope more people respond to this thread...it would be great to hear of a IUI success story.

On a side note, I had a huge headached (migraine like) going into the session, told the lady, and she worked her magic...
