Yeah, I know...I haven't had AF for 6 months almost, so I can expect a really bad one..but this is just horrible.
Only on 2nd day, and I think I'm going to die from this pain. Nothing is helping it. Pain meds, muscle relaxers, heating pad...nadda. Not to mention my whole body is so sore and limp I can barely get up enough strength to go to the bathroom. My legs keep falling asleep, my everything hurts...the breeze blowing on me hurts!
Anyway, anyone ever find a good something that works??? Please share! I need this to stop. I know my AF will last 2-4 weeks, always does when I go this long without one, and I do NOT want to be stuck up in bed for the next 2-4 weeks because of it.
Help!
-Renee
BTW: I can't take normal PMS/period releif meds. They all have caffine and/or asprin and I can't take those, only acetaminophen.

Renee,
I feel awful for you. I wish there was more I could say, but aside from taking the max of Tylenol every four hours, I would get into a warm bath and submerge myself as completely as possible. Weightlessness feels so good when you're hurting, and getting your ears under the water shuts out the rest of the world. On days when I've had heavy, uncomfortable stuff going on, I've slept in a recliner where I can reposition whenever the mood strikes. Try to nourish your body with extra good food and liquid, fresh air, pleasing music, and whatever you know will make you feel better.
By the way, is this reaction to AF partly related to the fibro?
Feel better, girl!

Thanks for the advice.
And I never thought fibro had much to do with it. But I guess if I think about it the fibromyalsia might bring on the extra tired/muscle pain. Fibro just loves to kick up with stress, and what could be more stressful than a nasty af?
Guess it's a good thing I've been taking my muscle relaxers then, who knows how much worse it'd be. (muscle relaxers is all my dr. gave me for helping the fibro, haven't had to take them in months)

I'm sorry I don't have any suggestions, but I just wanted to say that I hope you feel better really soon. I know you must be miserable. Good luck on finding something that works to ease your pain. ((((hugs))))
