Hi All!

I'm back! It's been a while since I last lurked/posted. My recently I found out I was pregnant...not expected @ all but I lost the baby. Being shocked with the un-expected pregnancy and the miscarriage all within 2 weeks has thrown me for a loop. The first couple of days was hard after getting home and the Friday my body was "doing its supposed thing" was hell! My emotions are still sorta wacked out when I think about it but it also helps to talk to ppl that know what you go though. Numerous blood tests, crazy drs and their staff, prescriptions/supplements from hell and whatever else we encounter going through this crazy disease. I live in the metro ATL area but I'm way out in the sticks(country). I'm sorry that I missed the April meetup @ Beauty's hse. How was it? Does anyone know of anyone that has experience with Insulin Labs PCOS vitamin kit? It seems very promising.

Hey guys, I wanted to check in. I have made it to week 16 with the pregnancy (thank God) and I'm feeling great. I'm nervous all the time because it's my first but it has been a ride!
We have sold our home in Birmingham (Yeah!) and now have the house in Marietta on the market. Too much going on I know! I hope everyone is doing well.

I just noticed your thread. I apologize for not answering this before. I have also had numerous miscarriages that never made it out of the 1st trimester. I'm now 16 weeks 2 days pregnant and everything seems to be going well. If They usually want you to wait until your third miscarriage before they will do any kind of testing. If you can, I would suggest you try to at the very least have your clotting values tested. It turned out that my 3 miscarriages were caused because I have antiphospholipid syndrome. Now I take lovenox 80 mgs 2xs per day. Aside from a bruised belly, everything now seems to be going well. There was a lot of trouble in the beginning of this pregnancy (the dosage was way too low). But now, everything seems good. I'm waiting for an ultrasound within a week.

Loveslady, Thank you. It can be very scary. I was at a very high risk of developing dvt (deep vein thrombosis) and didn't even know it. I wouldn't have found out had I not had so many miscarriages. My doctor told me that after the baby is born, i'll have to be on lovenox for another 2.5 months and baby aspirin for the rest of my life. All is going well so far. I'm 17 weeks tomorrow. I saw the baby yesterday. he was very active and kicking up a storm . I can't feel anything yet. But hopefully in another 4-5 weeks.
