Porkchop if that is u in the pic then you don't need to lose any weight. Now I need to lose weight. I feel you though. You gotta be comfortable with yourself and if youre not it does put a strain on yourself. We are beautiful.

Hey beautiful ladies whats been up, man im so foggy today

jrcrayton: welcome hun to the board how long have u had pcos?

porkchop: lol haah girl i know its hard as heck to loose the weight but if u stick to it then it should work. I lost like 25lbs in about 8-9months! if u like vinegar try apple cider vinegar on your veggies or even two teaspoons in 16oz water. it is said to help loose weight and supress the appetite. buckwheat helps you loose weight also, thats what i ate for breakfast every morning along with a piece of fruit. dont worry you'll get it girl

Beautiful sistah: i feel ya that brought up alot of feelings now its time to fly

Maizanne: whats been up

Mrsltrain: have u tried soy? that might work. i think alot of cysters said its suppost to work, i was going to then i changed my mind cuz im doin a lil too much with everything else

adea, I did do a lil soy for a month(actually a soy based diet), too much soy made me VERY sick. So I just recently started to try to add it gradually back into my diet. But it did make me feel really good, until I got sick of course. lol.

Hey, how's everybody?

Did I mention that PCOS sux!

Beautifulsista...at least you are having fun while TTC...try to keep your mind off of trying to actually "get" PG. I know two people (w/o pcos) who were TTC for a loooonnnngggg time, and w/o thinking about it they became PG.

The top three PCOS related issues that I would like to practically assasinate are body hair in the wrong places, sub-fertility and the weight. So I'm making my list and checking it twice-the vicious cycle has to stop somewhere...it's like I can get rid of the facial hair with LHR, then my hormones wont balance, then I get stressed, then I gain weight, then I get stressed because my hormones won't balance, then the hair stays/comesback...you see where I'm going...

The other day on Oprah a woman was losing her hair and Dr. Oz diagnosed her with a tumor...do you know how many times I brought a big azz bag of hair to my doc and she told me to cut it....thanx!

Just venting...

Adea,

It seems like my doctor doesnt believe that all of these problems may or may not be related...you're only fat because you eat too much, AF won't come because your too fat, your hormones are out of balance because you are too fat, your hair is falling out because it's too long, and your too fat! (lol)...I don't know where these people go to med school!

Soon I am going to begin searching for a new doctor, with a new perspective...my current doc is an endo/pcp...

This doesnt always apply, but my doc is overweight herself, with hair on her upper lip, so I wondered why she doesnt take more of a heart felt approach to her practice. Maybe she doesnt have PCOS, but if I were her I would look into alternatives for my patients with weight issues if I could relate to a degree...

I would like to find someone who won't dismiss my complaints when it may be very serious...I can only imagine that if the woman from Oprah went to my doc, she'd be in a coma or dead! Within a few months she'd lost so much hair, it reminded me of the women from this board who complain about severe bouts of hairloss...we should all get the same treatment that Dr. Oz gives, why do regular folks get less? The lady with the hairloss probably would not have recieved treatment without his testing/diagnosis...

Kim I saw that episode of Oprah too. On the other channel there was a show called Docs. It showed Lap band surgery on a 13 year old. I have been thinking about it alot lately and I THINK I have decided to do it. It not like Gastric. You want gastric then you go get it. You have to first go through nutritional classes and heart tests and Psych evaluations. Before you can have the surgery. At least the doctors in NC make you do that. I don't think that is everywhere. I have looked into it for a year. Only one part made me hesitant but I believe I'm over that too. It was the no eating a week prior and 2 weeks after.

Beautifulsista I long for a baby too. At first, it was something in the back of my head but I want it more and more. I have been able to calm it down here lately-especially with my breakup. I was gonna go crazy. Have you had everytest done to make sure you can concieve? I tried for three months and then I had a HSG done. It reveiled that alot.

My hair had stopped falling out but now it's doing it again. I have notice that I am stressing a WHOLE lot more than what I was. I gotta calm down. I'm trying. It hard though.

Adea- I'm going to really try DCI D-Chiro-Insositol. Girrrl i have tried every diet , pill .. etc. You name it. I've tried .. I'm just tired of it all. Even when i was 140lbs -150lbs i had acne, weight up and down , my hair fell out in clumps .. At the time i did not know i had pcos. If i knew that back then i would had a fighting chance with regards to my weight and fertility. I feel like my doctors during that time were to blame .. all the blood work and test no one had the sense to see i had pcos... WTF!!!!! Now that i hit my 30's the urge to be a mommy is all i think about!! And i'm mad because the one thing that all women should be able to do (HAVE BABIES). I AM CATCHING HELL TRYING TO DO!! I FEEL SO CURSED!! I WANT BABIES ... I KNOW I WOULD BE A GREAT MOM!!! SORRY FOR THE RANT!! I'M JUST SO DESPERATE AT THIS POINT!!!
