Default any success with herbs after unsuccessful conventional methods

Hello Everyone
I have spent the last 3 years ttc conventionally using clomid, ovarian drilling and 1 round of injectables. I have 1 round of injections left and then it is IVF for me, but I have ordered vitex, dong quai, wild yam and soy and was wondering has anyone had success with this either a pregnancy or just finally ovulating. I am also on metformin 1500mg.
I am thinking of using npc cream also instead of provera.
Any help or advice appreciated, as dont have much experience of herbs and dont want to go overboard

thanks
gypsy

There's a cyster named Torie who's 30+ weeks pregnant now. I remember her mentioning going through conventional infertility treatments without success. Finally it was the combo of Vitex and don qui that helped her achieve pregnancy. I had a similar experience. My husband didn't want me to go through those treatments so I was trying Vitex and don qui. One or two months later I got a BFP! Unfortunately I miscarried but that was another story. Hope this helps!

I am not yet pregnant, but... I was clomid resistant, after over a year on various doses with no O I tried injectibles 2x. THe first time I o'd (first time ever while being treated) The second time was cancelled because my ovaries had way to many follies (10 mature, many more smaller ones).
The success in herbs is that I o'd w/out the RE's assistance and AF is coming after 28 days rather than over 50 THings are on the right track!!!
Tori conceived with Vitex and Dong Quai (SP?). I take Soy Isoflavones on CD 5-9, and Vitex from CD 1 through whenever I possibly O. Some women have success right away with herbs, but Vitex can be a little slow going, sometimes up to six months before great results. To me the six month wait would be worth not getting poked and prodded at every day, Although I must admit, I feel lost with blood work and U/S out of my schedule every other day!
Good luck to you!

Arrow I got pregnant with the help of herbs

Clomid did not make me o, so I decided to try injectables straight away .... I conceived, but totally hyperstimulated and ended up in hospital - I week later I had a m/c ............... let me tell you that I felt miserable on the fertility drugs!

So I decided to take matters into my own hand and started a moderate carb diet, exercised daily for 30 minutes, went for acupuncture once a week and also took herbs (Black Cohosh, Donq Quai, False Unicorn Root, Saw Palmetto) and soy after doing lots and lots of research ...

The natural way worked quite well for me and 2 1/2 months later I found out that I was pregnant ...... I saw a heartbeat at 6w0d and am 7w2d today ..... I know I still have a long way to go, but I hope that everything will be just fine ....

Thanks Ladies for your input, I will hopefully give the herbs 6 months (will probably be saving for ivf during this time), fingers crossed that they will at least make me ovulate. Its definitely worth a try.

thanks again
