Default Any success with home microdermabrasion kits?

I've heard a few good things about these kits - there's Loreal or Oil of Olay and probably a few other brands. There are also some pricier ones from Origins and other brands. Has anynoe tried these and had any luck? I have a lot of red marks I'd like to speed up getting rid of. I know microderm is supposed to help with the post acne marks. I tried that Neutrogena acne fading mask and that really didn't help me too much.

Any suggestions for which ones to try???

I've been using the Oil of Olay Microdermabrasion for about 6 months now, it seems to help alot once your pimples start healing and makes the scars softer and your skin healthier looking.

I used to use http://www.dermanew.com/product_i-nt...mula_11464.htm
faithfully, then I started slacking off, I haven't used it in a couple of years but when I was using it I had great results!

I really should use it again, I miss the way it made my skin feel, thanks for posting this to remind me.

The best in-home microderm abrasion is from a company called BeautiControl- it has a patiened diamond shape crystal that evenly smoothes your skin all over- it helps with acne scars, lines, wrinkles, pigmentation and just the overall look in your skin - your make up will go on smoother and softer and I love the way my skin looks know after using it.. baby soft. I use it once a week and the results and noticable after the first time. plus it doens't hurt!

you can email me if you have any questions.. pskleinow@msn.com or go to.

I use the neutrogena at home kit, but i bought professional strength aluminum oxide crystals to go with it , I find I get the same results as the derm office. I mix my crystals with some good yonka lotion and it really works well.

I had a facial about a month ago and the estetician gave me samples of a product she used on my face called "bioelements pumice peel". It's a really fine exfoliant/microderm product that worked AMAZING. I am not a big fan of spending a ton of money on products - probably because I've bought so many with really pathetic results - but this stuff is worth every penny. I'm actually buying some this week. It made my skin so smooth and did amazing things for my large and clogged pores. I cannot say enough good things about it.
