Default Any suggestions?

Hello ladies I'm fairly new to the board was wondering if anyone has any advice for me. I've changed to a vegan lifestyle which includes only vegetables, soy and nuts; no sugars period, no cafeeine, no booze, no meat no dairy etc etc and it's working Ive lost weight. I'm also on a supplement program called insulite which is supposed to help with the IR, don't know yet if it's working but it's only been a couple of weeks. Im also taking saw palmetto with pygeum, vitex, and some natures sunshine products for the thyroid and the adrenal glands. I'm planning on starting natural progesterone creme soon and starting some yoga or pilates to try and lenghten my bulky muscles.

I guess it's pretty obvious I don't like prescriptions. I'm just scared to take something that in the long run will ruin my liver, kidneys etc etc. Anyway anyone got any ideas as to other avenues I may want to explore or supplements that I may want to include ? Thank you

I hate to be on the down side for you.

The main mistake some make is thinking that vitamins or supliments are 100% safe and "natural" to take. Any med needs to be evaluated for usage. Of course some can be more dangerous than others. But nothing is 100% safe.

Even Met/Gluc has adverse side effects. What many people don't realize is for some people, it can cause serious problems like anxiety and muscle pain and stiffness. chromium can also have this effect.

So to know the manufacture and the process of how it is made can be the most important way to judge a new med or vitamin.

I hope everyone can look at vitamins as medication. Just because it is not issued through a doctor/pharmicist doesn't mean it is better for you. Same goes other way around.

Know the pills your taking and watch for side effects that could get worse.

All pills, vitamins and medications go through the liver. So it is important to look everything up to see how it effects the liver and to also check for conflicts between vitamins and perscription medications.

I hope yor stratigey works.

Best wishes and please stay safe!
