Smile Any thoughts on what combo might work best

I have not actually been diagnosed with PCOS but the information on this website is the first that makes any sense with what I have been dealing with all my life. My main symptom would be irregular/absence of periods.

I have two miracle babies - probably the only two times I ovulated in my life! Prior to baby #1 I took fertility meds for 3 1/2 years and had the full array of tests done. I quit everything for a couple of months and low and behold became pregnant. That was in 1997. Baby #2 came quickly in 1999. Even with two births, my symptoms have never changed.

I would like one more baby but we are unwilling to go the fertility route again.

After researching on this site and others, I am interested in soy - side effects, drawbacks, etc. I would also be interested in info on Vitex, chromium and the natural progesterone cream. I am due to begin Prometrium next week but for future cycles would like to try something with less medical intervention. What combo of the above might be best.

Thanks, lda

I highly recommend that you see a qualified naturopath to help you decide which herbs, supplements etc. are right for you.

PCOS is a confusing syndrome and our bodies are 'finicky' a naturopath (with all his/her training) can help you choose the things that will work for you.

I found mine on the following site: www.findnd.com.
