Default Any tips for dealing with nausea?

I've been on the pill for over a month now and I'm just so nauseous. Sometimes it's all day, and sometimes I'll just get hit by a horrible wave of nausea, or I'll be eating and then BOOM, I feel a terrible urge to vomit and I have to get that food out of my sight ASAP. Now, I've been put on TWO pills a day!! I just know I'm not even gonna be able to be in the same room as food without getting sick. Does anyone have any good tips that worked for you to help with the nausea?? I don't know how I'm going to deal with this miserable feeling!! Thanks in advance!

I've had this problem some too. I have kept track and find that I deal more with nausea when I haven't had any protein in quite a few hours. DH and I eat supper around 5 every night, when I take my Met xr. I was not snacking before bed and then I woke up and ate around 7:30 the next morning. RE told me that's too long to go without having food, and WAY too long for someone with IR to go without protein in your system.

At the point I'm eating breakfast, I'm hypoglecemic and anything I eat is spiking my glucose, hence the nausea. I am now eating a handful of peanuts or a piece of string cheese before bed...haven't experienced the nausea since I've been doing this. HTH you out some...

On the natural end of things, you can try ginger if you don't mind the taste. Ginger tea, or I like to put ginger in everything I eat, or suck on a ginger altoid.(sugar, I know sugar) I have been having nausea for a couple months unrelated to anything else, so I know what you mean.
I take Phenegran and Zofran on the medication front, you could ask your doctor for some if it gets to the point that it's interferring with your life.
Hope that helps some.. good luck!
