Any Tricks Of The Trade

I am currently on Spectra28 and I have been on my period for about 4 weeks now! I happens from time to time, but I was wondering does anyone know of any tricks I can do to get my period to stop! My doctor suggested taking 3 at a time, but I am concerned about clotting and major mood swings. HELP PLEASE!
