Hi ladies,
So nice to see so many responses to this thread.

Those of you who practice west indian culture, food etc...how did you (assuming you have) deal with PCOS? Have you made lifestyle changes or was it mostly medication...please share some of your success stories.
I'm eager to hear from sisters who share the west indian cultural background because I think it is a little harder for us because of our diet and way of life. Not to mention doctors who are only now becoming aware of PCOS it seems.

Look forward to hearing from you.

I have tried to limit the amount of carbs I eat. I still eat them, and prepare everything as I have been taught locally. I just give myself smaller portions. I also make Lunch my biggest meal. This seems to help me cut down on my weight.

no luck with any medical professional willing to stick with me in ttc.
so I've been trying bit of this and that.
next step is checking on my thyroids

hello ladies and welcome, so glad you posted! I'm from Couva, been TTC for about a year and a half, no luck so far though...but i've been able to lose some weight recently so things are looking up. I'm also on Met 2000mg/day.
