Any words of wisdom? I was wondering if anyone could tell me a little more about the lab surgery. This is kind of come out of no where for me so I'm a little confused. I've been going in for scans to start my 1st clomid cycle but about 4 weeks ago they saw a cyst. Well after being on bc for a while and monitoring the cyst hasn't changed but because it is there I can't start my 1st cycle. Ok so now that is all out of the way here's my question...They told me that they want to do a lab to go in and look at the cyst and to check out if I have endo. They handed me 2 leaflets (1 about endo & 1 about the lab procedure) and told me that someone will call me to schedule the surgery. So can anyone tell me what to expect? Are they going to remove my cyst? Drain it? Or just go in and look around. When I was about 20 a gyno randomly mentioned that I might have endo because I was complaining about serious pain during BM's but said that no one would know for sure unless they did a lap...sooo does this mean that I'm finally going to get my dx? Sorry I know I'm all over the place but I'm way confused.
